your heart desires, which is why we upgraded the reverse chain to be nearly
twice as strong as stock. Our dual reverse chain is designed for the biggest
hills and thickest mud pits. It can handle being thrown into reverse in the
trickiest situations without breaking.
Upgraded Pinion and
Snorkel Gears
You won’t find a tougher pinion and snorkel gear
set anywhere else. Our gears are made from ultra-tough 9310 alloy steel.
They’re perfectly lapped and broken in together, which ensures perfect mating
and smooth, strong operation. Throw in a 300M front output shaft and you’ve
got internals that beat the crap out of everything else on the market.
A Better Pinion Bearing Retainer
Our complete
transmission replacement also comes with a heavy-duty pinion bearing retainer.
The stock bearing retainer is one of the biggest weak spots on your OEM
transmission–if it’s not strong enough, it can come apart, overheat, and
explode. That’s why we made sure ours is way bigger and beefier. Your pinion
gear will stay firmly in place, giving you a more reliable ride.
Top-Quality Transmission Case
These upgraded internal
components are great, but they don’t amount to much if you don’t have a
quality case holding it all together. Ours uses 68% more metal on the axle
output and snorkel tube, and additional support ribs and gussets make it even
stronger. It gives extra strength where your transmission needs it most, and
those extra ribs keep everything running cool.

With this Polaris RZR Trail 900 transmission, you decide how much of a gear
reduction you get. Choose from stock, 12.5%, 25%, and 37.5% to get the perfect
amount of torque for your ride. If you’re carrying more weight or running
bigger tires, that extra force will be a lifesaver–especially in mud and on
rough trails.
