Description
Gen 3 Portals Are Geared for All
We believe a side-by-
side should be as unique as the rider who owns it. That’s why we like to give
you options when it comes to customizing the way you ride. When you get
SuperATV’s GDP 4” Portal Gear Lift for your Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000, you get
to pick your level of gear reduction (15% or 30%) and style of housings (cast
or billet aluminum). It doesn’t matter what kind you choose—if it says GDP,
you know it’s the best.
GDP—the Most Trusted Name in
Portals
More riders turn to SuperATV for their portal needs than
anyone else in the industry. That’s because we know our stuff. We’ve invested
more time and money in designing portal gear lifts than any other manufacturer
in the industry. Thanks to industry-leading technology and countless hours of
field and lab testing, we’re able to deliver exactly what you need to take
your ride to the next level.
Perfect for Mud
Some things are just made to go hand in hand—peanut butter and jelly, biscuits
and gravy, and portals and mud, to name a few. You haven’t experienced mud in
your side-by-side until you’ve done it on a portal gear lift. The 4” lift
keeps you from getting swamped and gives you room for bigger tires, and the
torque boost makes cutting through thick mud a piece of cake.
A Gear Reduction That Protects Your Drivetrain
Portal
gear lifts put the gear reduction directly in the hub, which is good news for
your drivetrain. This placement greatly reduces the amount of stress placed on
your axles, differential, prop shaft, and transmission. Because portals don’t
make those parts work overtime, they’ll last longer—which saves you money in
the long run. You’re welcome.

reduction can unleash your machine’s potential.
Unmatched
Gear Material
Good gears keep your portal gear lift running
flawlessly, so we use the best. Our portals contain premium, top-of-the-line
gears made from a strong 9310 alloy steel. They’re precision ground to ensure
perfect mating and quiet operation. So go ahead and get wild—these gears will
deliver a smooth ride no matter what.
Stronger Housings by
Design
Another crucial component of a portal gear lift is the
housing. It’s what keeps everything safe and protected on those rough rides.
Quality housings aren’t easy to manufacture, but lucky for you, we’ve done our
research. We’ve been making portal housings for years and now we’re proud to
give you two unbeatable options: cast or USA-made 6061 billet aluminum with a
sleek CNC-machined finished. You can’t go wrong either way.

The Strongest Portal Backing Plates You Can
Get
Like everything else related to GDP portals, our backing
plates are anything but standard. They’re made of an advanced steel alloy
that’s specialized for use in ultra-high force applications. With a thickness
of 5/16” and strength more impressive than chromoly, these backing plates are
prepared for anything.
Advanced Gaskets and Seals
Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than
Kevlar gaskets
Bearings That Rock
Our bearings keep your portal
gear lift running smoothly through all conditions. Incredibly strong roller
bearings hold the idler gear in place, absorbing all that internal pressure.
And because the output bearing takes the most force, we utilize a double-
angular contact bearing. All in all, these bearings are designed to keep your
portals running for miles without fail.
Universal Hubs and
Slotted Rotors
All GDP portals utilize precision-ground,
stainless steel slotted rotors. They’re designed to stay cool and deliver the
braking power you need, exactly when you need it. Our universal hubs come with
4/156, 4/137, 4/115, and 4/110 bolt patterns and lugs, allowing you to run
just about any side-by-side wheel under the sun. We also invented the tapered
output shaft that attaches to our hubs. It gives you a more secure lock that
won’t start to wobble over time.
